The front water depth is greater than 20 meters, and the 10-meter isobath is 100-250 meters from the shore. The harbor basin has wide waters.
Xiaoyangshan Port Area
It is located on the south bank of Xiaoyangshan Island in the western part of Shengsi Sea. It is 21.2 nautical miles away from the county seat, 16.2 nautical miles away from Shanghai Luchao Port in the northwest, and facing Dayangshan Island in the south.
The coastline of Xiaoyangshan Island is 14210 meters long (10,213 meters of bedrock), and the coastline is 1700 meters. It is at the foot of Daguanyin Mountain from Nanao to Laoyazui. The front 10 meter isobath is 250-300 meters from the shore. By reclaiming land from the sea, connecting islands and islands, a large number of deep-water shorelines and land areas have been added. As the deep-water port area of Shanghai International Shipping Center, the project started in April 2004. The first phase of the project is planned to be completed in 2005. The annual container throughput will reach 2.2 million TEUs. At the same time, the built berth will be 1,600 meters long.
